Canalta Elementary is a K-7 school located on the western edge of the City of Dawson Creek with a beautiful view of a park and open fields. We have a student population of approximately 260 students. Canalta has a positive and vibrant culture with a strong focus on relationships. We take priority in improving student achievement and well-being through high quality instruction, while honouring diversity and equity. Staff participate in on-going professional development and learning and a continuous cycle of examining achievement data and putting tiered interventions in place for students. We are also proud of our technology and music programs which further enhance the experiences of our students.
