The Grams to Cups Formula

The conversion formula is simple: cups = grams ÷ grams per cup. The grams-per-cup value is unique to each ingredient because of density differences.

For example: 100 grams of all-purpose flour ÷ 120 g/cup = 0.833 cups. But 100 grams of water ÷ 240 g/cup = 0.417 cups — a very different result!
